Scott, CPA, CGMA has over 20 years of business experience. She is very passionate
about helping businesses be successful. She gets excited about new
projects, the more complicated the better. She takes ownership of your
problems and makes them hers. Phyllis started Scott Financial
Consulting Services after deciding that she wanted to be able to offer
multiple services to business owners.
“Our goal is to be the ultimate partner for the small business owner.
That’s the reason why our core values states that we partner with our
clients to transfer knowledge and create repeatable processes to enable
the business owner to operate their business more efficiently with
profitability maximization. Remember we're successful, when you're
successful. We want to give you the tools to enable you to run your
company and not depend on organizations that give you just enough
information to keep you dependent on them. Many companies treat the
symptom instead of curing the problem. Our goal is to give you the
knowledge and training and then step back to allow you to apply
processes that have been implemented in your company. Of course we will
always be there to help but our goal is of empowerment. Just imagine
being able to design a milestone list for your business. You will be
able to “drive” your business. Think of us as your vehicle. Business
owners don’t have time to manage the day to day operations. They need
to be the visionary. You can’t be a visionary when you are worrying
about processing payroll, preparing returns, paying bills, or closing
the books. We are your outsource resource. Think of us as your
Controller, COO or CFO for the day, the month, or year. We run the day
to day, train the necessary personnel, analyze expenses, create your
budgets, and implement software if applicable. We will also provide
training if your staff is unfamiliar with the software/systems in place.
